LicensE Account Information
A brief description and profession list of LicensE account types.
In LicensE, you must register for a separate Individual or Organizational Account depending on the professional credential you are applying for. Most applicants will require only one type of account. However, sometimes an applicant may need to have both an Organizational Account (Dwelling Contractor - a business, organization account) and a separate Individual Account (Dwelling Contractor Qualifier - a personal, individual account). When you create an account please be aware there may be different requirements, and if you hold both accounts you will need a separate email for each account.
Organization Account:
Purpose: Required for business credentials (e.g., accounting firms, dwelling contractors, appraisal management companies, pharmacies)
Registration:
Use the same LicensE portal or registration link.
Create a separate email address for the organization.
Provide organization name, contact details, and relevant business information.
SSN may still be required for certain business types for identification

Individual Account:
Purpose: Required for credentials granted to individuals (e.g., Certified Public Accountant, Dwelling Contractor Qualifier, Registered Nurse, Private Security Person, Social Worker).
Registration:
Go to the LicensE portal or the New Account Registration page
Use a personal email address you can access indefinitely.
Provide your full name, date of birth, phone number, and email.
Enter your Social Security Number (SSN) for identification under federal law.
Create a strong password (10+ characters, with uppercase, lowercase, number, and special character)
